Located away from the dense crowds of central Chengdu, these facilities offer a natural environment to observe giant and red pandas. As of April 23, 2026, the CCRCGP Dujiangyan Panda Base is closed for major renovations.
Panda Valley acts as the primary open alternative in the area. It covers 133 hectares of forested terrain. Entry costs 55 RMB. You must bring your original physical passport for real-name ticket verification.

This 133-hectare forested conservation facility focuses on the wild training and reintroduction of giant pandas. The park spans elevations up to 1,161 meters. Arrive right at opening around 8:30 AM. You will see the pandas when they are most active and eating breakfast.

This immersive zone sits within Panda Valley. Visitors walk on wooden boardwalks while red pandas roam freely around them. Do not touch or feed the red pandas. This strict rule applies even if they walk directly onto the path in front of you.
